Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a short peptide sequence that binds selectively to the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Known as one of the most selective growth hormone (GH) secretagogues, laboratory studies have shown that ipamorelin does not influence the release of ACTH, prolactin, follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, thyroid-stimulating hormone, or cortisol. Due to its high specificity, ipamorelin is studied both as a potential therapeutic agent and as a model for understanding selective binding to GH receptors. It plays a crucial role in promoting growth and repair of musculoskeletal tissue.
